By Stephen Pate – It was a dreadful night with too much rap and too little music at the 2014 Grammys. Oh and what about that pedestrian song "One Love".
The state of new music could not be stated more clearly when two 70-year-old rock and rollers were the best music of the night.
After Julia Roberts announced The Beatles 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award, Ringo and Paul joined once again in a musical performance, this time the new song "Queenie Eye."
Earlier in the evening Ringo let the band in the nostalgic "Photograph".
Drumming is Ringo's forte but he did sing some great Beatles songs like "With A Little Help From My Friends", "Yellow Submarine", "Octopus's Garden" and covers of "Act Naturally" and "Matchbox".
