But now this prolific writer-director pivots from the gritty world of mean streets … to the ruthless dating jungle of New York City in his latest play, Dates and Nuts. Eve has just been dumped by her fiancé — for a man. Angry at the male species, she becomes increasingly frantic as she searches for Mr. Right. Tony nominee Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore on Broadway, for the RSC and at the Taper) will direct the West Coast premiere of this romantic comedy at the Bootleg Theater.
