Adding one more feather to his cap is the fact that, he has now joined hands with Mohit Suri for the remake of The Intouchables, a popular French film.

Talking about the deal, Karan said that The Intouchables is one film which he loved and wanted to make. He added that Guneet Monga went to great lengths to acquire the rights for him.

Speaking about Mohit, Karan said that he has always admired Mohit's work since the beginning of his career and that this film was a perfect opportunity for them to collaborate. On the other hand, Mohit said that The Intouchables was one of the loveliest films that he had ever seen and that their remake will have a lot more tears, drama and fun.

Mohit added that the film is still in the scripting stages and that the casting decisions are yet to be started.
