Whether playing as a solo artist or acting as frontman for such bands as Traffic or Blind Faith (alongside the legendary Eric Clapton), brilliant musicianship has always been the hallmark of Winwood’s prolific career. At 66, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and multi-Grammy Award winner is still going strong, touring and playing to packed houses on both sides of the pond. For this show at the historic Hollywood Pantages, the British rock icon will revisit his greatest hits including “Higher Love,” “Back in the High Life Again” and “Valerie,” to name just a few. Opening for Winwood is gifted songwriter and performer Cris Jacobs.
