Sex meets science-fiction in The Mother Ship, the tale of a frustrated couple whose struggles with infertility take them into the cosmos. When wannabe parents Trevor and Penelope have a new water heater installed, the machine turns out to be a portal into another dimension, launching them into a space adventure with planet Earth itself at stake. As a farce of the future transpires — replete with slamming doors, seductive aliens and dancing ghost-eggs — the befuddled duo races to save not only all of human life but their marriage too.
