Bedrock LA, Echo Park’s 40,000 square-foot musical Disneyland, hosts its second annual music and magic festival — this time featuring magic performances by top artists from the Academy of Magical Arts and a lineup of bands hand-picked by Nick Zinner, guitarist of indie-punk band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Taking over the parking lot of its namesake lockout and recording complex, BEDROCKtoberfest has everything you could want to accompany a music and magic festival: food trucks, local vendors and — of course — beer. Zinner’s noise-grind supergroup Head Wound City will be reuniting for the first time in eight years, aspiring German DJ flula will be hosting, plus much more.
