USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…While Akshay Kumar is popular for stunts in Bollywood, the actor decided to channelize his talent for women empowerment. The actor who runs martial arts institutes for women, recently felicitated a fearless young girl named Pradnya Mandhare, who courageously fought back her eve teaser.
Pradnya Mandhare, a 20 year old student from Mumbai, dragged a drunken man by his hair to the police station after he misbehaved with her in a public place. Akshay Kumar, who was impressed with her bravery, maintained that it takes a different level of talent to voice out our opinion against injustice and such acts of molestation and felicitated the girl on the sets of a reality show. Expressing her happiness over this honour, Pradnya also added that she hopes she inspires other women to showcase their strong personalities and continue the fight against exploitation.
Earlier we had also reported that Akshay Kumar in association with Aditya Thackeray has launched a martial arts school to train women for self defense and they have even been admitting visually impaired girls in order to instill confidence in them.
