For the first time ever, Toronto will host the world’s best short track speed skaters for the 2nd stop on the World Cup circuit. Over 150 skaters from across the globe will be at the Mastercard Centre on November 6-8, 2015. The Canadian national team, which includes Olympic medalists Charles Hamelin, Marianne St-Gelais and Valerie Maltais, will be competing against an international field in Toronto. This will be the last stop in North America before events in Asia and Europe, with the World Championships in Korea in March. Come out and cheer on our Canadian athletes as they race here at home and experience the fast-paced sport of short track, where anything can happen! For further information, including how to purchase tickets for this world-class event, visit speedskating.ca/toronto2015. Tickets go on sale September 15. Seats are limited, get them while you can!
