Let yourself be surrounded by performance, film, visual masterpieces and music as the Ballroom is transformed by The Space’s inaugural art party, Escape Artists. Join the party to explore how the artists use their medium as a coping mechanism and reveal their deepest & darkest secrets.
This month’s super-curators are Sofí and Eryka Gudiño-Barthold. Their living arts series – The Space Toronto – is all about bringing people together to celebrate art and community. Make sure to stop by and have a drink, dance, and put your finger on the pulse of Toronto’s art scene.

About The Space:
The Space is a living arts event series launched in August 2015. The sister team curates a different group of artists every time to take over a Toronto venue, simultaneously introducing local artists to each other, the city’s art hot spots and the community. As home grown Toronto expressionists, the Gudiño-Barthold sisters started The Space to give other artists more platforms to perform and exhibit, as well as the opportunity to network with one another. We aim to be “not just another art show”, but a real celebration of community, creativity and local talent.
