Around the world, specific neighbourhoods are known as famous nerve centers for leading edge— art, music and ideas. In Toronto, between 1975-1985, this leading-edge neighbourhood was Queen Street West (QSW). Curated by Lorraine Segato, The Rebel Zone Artifact Exhibit/Performance showcases a seminal cultural history moment when art and activism— met, merged and transformed Toronto into the diverse city we see today.
