I-vana Raca has been taking Toronto by storm ever since her triumphant return to Toronto after a two-year stint abroad working under Michelin star chef Paul Froggatt at the Palazzo Versace in Australia. She’s competed at the Underground Chef Battle and done her mentor, chef Mark McEwan proud.
Her eponymous restaurant, Raca Cafe & Bar has also been named in Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list (2016) which further raises her profile as one of Toronto’s best chefs. Reservations will no doubt be hard to come by for the next few months! Luckily for us, we will once again join forces with this amazingly talented woman as she cooks a few of her favorite things. The menu will be pulling from chapters of her life in the culinary world, sort of an homage to the dishes that made her the chef she is today.
