Peter Fischer’s work focuses primarily on the fine nuances of the natural world. Inspired by the beauty of places undisturbed by human presence, Fischer delights in patterns and the accidental repetition of shapes in the natural world. Fischer’s technique is so meticulous that brushstrokes are invisible in many of his paintings, which could be easily mistaken for beautifully airbrushed photographs. His highly detailed paintings capture wilderness vistas with such accuracy that one can practically hear wind rustling through branches and the meditative babble of a creek.
