1. Listening to white noise or nature sounds, such as forest or the ocean, can be very soothing for sleep. The sounds help you ease depression and lessen your stress level.
If you want to have a beauty sleeps and avoids listening to songs over night. There are lot of people who listen songs during their sleep and some of them have developed this habit that they can’t sleep without listening to songs. No double the soothing music helps you to sleep early but that wouldn’t be count as a beauty sleep because the sounds actives your brain.
2. Take your snack at least 4 – 5 hours before you go to your bed. Try to avoid having any snacks before bed, particularly grains and sugars. These food items have sugar content and can raise blood pressure, sugar level and might inhibit sleep. Such snacks also keep your digestive system active and makes the digestive system work harder, preventing you fromfalling asleep easily.
3. Sleep in complete darkness or as close as possible. If there is even the tiniest bit of light in the room, it can disrupt your circadian rhythm and your pineal gland’s production of melatonin and serotonin. Also there should be as little light in the bathroom as possible if you get up in the middle of the night.
4. People who watch TV late night in their attempt to fall asleep are not doing the right thing. Make it a rule to follow “No TV right before bed.” That would be much better, if you place the TV out of the bedroom. Watching TV late at night, is very stimulating for the brain and it will take longer to fall asleep. Also It is very disruptive of the pineal gland for the same reason as above.
