In a press release issued on Thursday, the students said a coup is not what our South Sudan needs at the moment. 

“We condemn the use of young and innocent children of Luo Nuer as war blanket. These boys are national human resource that can foster development of this country,” said the statement.

“All nations are born out of ideas, communications and moves by the founding fathers. The following great nations are positively contributing to global destiny because the people stood with their founding fathers to lay the foundation for the national. 

“The will never be forgotten Nelson Mandela who brought South Africa to where it is. Kwame Nkruma of the republic of Ghana that produced strong UN secretary general Kofi Ana, Julius Nyerere of United republic of Tanzania, Jomo Kenyatta of the republic of Kenya and other senior world leaders,” the students said in a press statement.

The students urged the internal displace persons who fled outside the country and within the country to go back to their respective homes and embrace the process of national reconciliation as South Sudanese.
