The controversial, Actor, model, item girl and what not,the person who crossed all the Line of Control, respect and integrity just to make her name in the showbiz industry, and eventually got succesfull to arrive at a Landmark of Controversies. It was in the air that  Veena Malik will leave film industry now the decision has taken as she formally announced her retirement from the film industry on Sunday, Express News reported.

Veena, who got recently married to a Dubai-based Pakistani businessman Asad Bashir Khan last year in December, recently finished performing Umrah with her husband and his family.

For the time being her family, love life is on her priority. While films have seen the last of her, she will always remain part of welfare and social development projects. “I am also going to refuse Indian film producers with whom I had agreed to work in their movies,” she said in an interview to a Pakistani journalist in Saudi Arabia, where she had gone to perform ‘Umrah’ with her Dubai-based husband Asad Bashir Khan Khattak and his family.

Veena , says. She further added, that  Of course, I will keep coming to Pakistan. But this time, the credit goes to my husband Asad, who brought me back from India and says we will soon visit Pakistan. We will be visiting US, Pakistan and Dubai as we have a home set up every where and the families are spread across, So these are the three places you will mostly find us in.”

She said religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel had changed her life completely. “Maulana sahib made me promise not to take off my dupatta (head scarf). And I will fulfil this promise for the rest of my life,” “Like other humans I have also committed mistakes. I have sought forgiveness of my mistakes from God. Now I want to work for the welfare of the people of Pakistan,” she said.

Malik said well-wishers from across the globe, including Indians and Pakistanis, have been congratulating her and Khattak on her decision. The great religious scholar, Maulana Sahab asked people to pray that she would be able to stick to the change in her life. “I have quit showbiz and I want people to pray for me so that I can stick to this change.”
