Trevor Partridge of Bowmanville charged with possession of child pornography

On Wednesday, August 18, 2010, officers from the TPS’s Sex Crimes Unit, Child Exploitation Section, assisted by officers from the Durham Regional Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation Section, arrested a man in the Regional Road 57/Baseline Road area in Bowmanville.

It is alleged that:

– undercover officers determined that images of child sexual abuse were being made available over the internet from an address in Bowmanville,

– images and videos of child sexual abuse were located at the man’s home.

It is further alleged that:

– the man has posed as a 17-year-old and engaged in online conversations with girls.

Trevor Partridge, 44, of Bowmanville, has been charged with:

1) Possession Child Pornography

2) Two counts of Make Available Child Pornography

3) Make Child Pornography

Officers believe he has approached children in Toronto and Durham Region, specifically in Bowmanville. He uses the online identifiers of "Joe Jones" and "jimdim69."
