On Thursday, May 31st, 2012, join Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada (BGCC) for their first-ever national fundraising event, Capital One Race for Kids. The National Kick-Off Event is a corporate team challenge beginning at Yonge-Dundas Square and continuing throughout downtown Toronto. This event kicks off Capital One Race for Kids 2012, which is an urban, team adventure race that will raise funds to benefit boys and girls across the country. The race consists of fun, skill-testing Checkpoint Challenges for teams of five to complete in a race to the finish line. After the race, there will be a post-event celebration at the Hard Rock Caf, featuring food, drinks, entertainment and a special awards presentation where prizes will be handed out to top teams. All proceeds from the National Kick-Off Event will go towards Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. This event is a unique team-building experience, allowing teams to bond while being put to the test. Encourage your co-workers, friends, and family to join your team and sign up today! Visit www.raceforkids.ca to find out how you can register for the race, sponsor a participant, or volunteer on event day.
