Two decades later, the Larenz Tate-Nia Long romantic drama has inspired a new stage adaptation, featuring musical collaboration from MC Lyte, Musiq Soulchild, Marsha Ambrosius, Chrisette Michele, Raheem DeVaughn and Dave Hollister. Love Jones the Musical once again traces the complicated relationship between poet Darius Lovehall and photographer Nina Mosley whose paths initially cross at a boho nightclub in Chicago.
