FC Edmonton Look to End Four Game Losing Skid

FC Edmonton has struggled as of late, having lost four in a row and is without a win in six. But the last time the Puerto Rico Islanders came to town FC Edmonton won 3-0 and the home team is hoping for more of the same success on Saturday (K.O. 7:30 p.m).

The two teams have only faced each other once this season but will play three games in August, which could prove vital in the race for second place.

The Islanders currently hold the spot with 29 points from 18 games. FC Edmonton are just four points behind in third but have played 19.

With only nine games remaining for FC Edmonton, the team will look to take advantage of a heavy home schedule. The Eddies play six games at Foote and only three on the road; two in Puerto Rico at the end of August and one in Montreal to wrap up the regular season on Sept. 17.
