Whitehorse police search for missing man Ralph Cumbridge

Whitehorse RCMP received a complaint on Friday August 5th, 2011 from a family member who was reporting his 56 year old father was overdue arriving for a visit. RCMP is currently seeking information from the public on the whereabouts of Ralph Cumbridge.

Cumbridge is described as a Caucasian male, 56 years of age. He is described as 183 centimeters in height and weighting 86 kilograms. He has white hair and blue eyes. His hair is described as possibly shoulder length and balding. Cumbridge is known to frequent the downtown area of Whitehorse especially the vicinity of the Salvation Army.

“RCMP members have been making inquires in areas frequented by Mr. Cumbridge. There is some belief that he may have boarded a Greyhound for BC but Police have not been able to confirm this.” (Sgt Don Rogers) He was last believed to have been seen at the Salvation Army in Whitehorse on August 3rd. Whitehorse RCMP has followed up on some leads which suggest he may have been seen in Whitehorse in recent days but Police have not been able to confirm this.

Cumbridge may either be on-route or in Penticton, Kelowna, Osoyoos or other area community.
