Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing woman.

Twenty-two-year-old Monika Elizabeth Selig, who also goes by the last name Nauss and the nickname ‘Micky,’ has not been heard from since Monday, August 29. She was last seen in the area of Summer Street in Halifax. Police have attempted to locate her by speaking with family and checking places she is known to frequent but have not been able to find her. She has gone missing before and been located in the downtown/south end of Halifax, the Gaston Road area of Dartmouth and also in Bridgewater. Monika is a white woman, 5’6", 150 lbs. with light brown hair and facial scarring from acne. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, jeans and sneakers.

There is concern for Monika’s well-being as she requires medication and without it she may be a danger to herself.
