romneyIf new poll results are to be belived then Rick Perry the Governor Texas has surpassed previous leader Mitt Romney and now head the presidential race but on the flip side another new poll results indicate that Mitt Romney is again back in the lead.

Fox News conducted the survey from 25th to 27th of September and it indicated that Romney is leading with 23% support compared to Rick Perry’s 19%. The winner of Florida’s straw poll from last weekend Herman Cain is just behind him with 17% support.

At the bottom is Michele Bachmann who has only gathered 3% support as they trails ex Utah Governor Hon Huntsman by a single point.

A survey conducted almost a month before the current one had Rick Perry leading with 29 percent, Romney with 22% but the person who has benefitted the most is Cain who last month only had 6% support and now stands at 17% support.

Perry’s late admission for the race of governor saw him give a stern test to the leading contender Mitt Romney who before that was widely accepting by many to Ace the elections. Over the last month both the contenders have been head to head in the race and prior to the latest result Perry had a slender advantage.
