In a miraculous event a 67 year senior citizen was found breathing many days after his car fell 200 feet from a mountain. The person named David Lavau lived in a makeshift camp ate leaves and drank water from a close by stream to stay alive.
Los Angeles County Fire Department Captain Mark Savage told media that David’s family discovered him at the underneath of a narrow valley off Lake Hughes road at Angeles National Forest on Thursday as they went about finding him on their own.
He further added that they found another crashed car close by whose driver failed to survive the accident and there were no facts as to how the cars ended up there.
David’s daughter Lisa Lavau told that they did reported the case of their missing father only after they did not hear anything from their dad for several days.
Authorities informed Lisa Lavau that David had used his debit card at a close by grocery store, after which she decided to carry out a search of the area along with her daughter and brother.
Lisa told the news “”We stopped at every ravine, and looked over every hill and then my brother got out of the car and we kept screaming and the next thing we heard Dad saying ‘help, help,’ and there he was.”
