Toronto woman sexually assaulted by four men

Durham Regional Police are investigating after a Toronto woman reported being assaulted in the Oshawa/Whitby area last weekend by four unknown males.

On the morning of Sunday April 15, 2012, the female victim reports she was picked-up around the Sherbourne Street and Shuter Avenue area of Toronto. At approximately 1 p.m. the victim was dropped off at the Esso Gas Station located on the northwest corner of Taunton Road and Thickson Road in Whitby. The victim contacted police and reported being sexually assaulted sometime prior to 1 p.m. in Durham Region by the unknown four males. 

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle and identifying the occupants for further investigation.

The suspect vehicle is described as a lighter coloured GMC Yukon or similar type vehicle with four doors, tinted windows and running boards. 

The male driver of the SUV suspect vehicle is described as: white with an average build. No description is available for the three other males.
