The celebrities enjoy being on social media and sharing parts of their lives with the fans. But, the being on social media comes with its issues. These days, many celebs have become a victim of trolling and constantly get abused. Karan Johar is one such celeb who often gets targeted for promoting nepotism. Not only that, just recently he was called out for giving Janhvi Kapoor a grand movie like Takht right after her first film. After that, he was also accused of promoting extramarital affairs while he was celebrating seven years of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

It all began when Karan Johar announced his next directorial project, Takht. With an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. After seeing Janhvi’s namein the star cast, netizens called him out for promoting nepotism as Janhvi was only one movie old. But, as usual, the filmmaker a strong comeback. Responding to the troll, he wrote, “You must stop immediately or the world will come to a drastic end!”

Not only that, Karan Johar was recently celebrating 12 years of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. The filmmaker, Farah Khan, Preity Zinta – all of them shared photographs from the filming days and got nostalgic. Preity shared a lovely candid photograph of her with Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. Then, someone replied saying that he has been promoting extramarital affairs. In true Karan Johar fashion, he responded by saying, “Hello uninformed person! You cannot promote something that is already a big hit!”

Karan Johar is currently busy producing his next film Simmba with Rohit Shetty. The film, which stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, is slated to release on December 28, 2018.
