Eat|See|Hear Movies presented by Fandango is bringing their roving outdoor summer movie night to North Hollywood. Combining popular films with live indie bands and some of the city’s most famous food trucks, these outdoor events make for a quintessential California summer experience. Eat|See|Hear is rolling the largest outdoor movie screen west of the Mississippi to the North Hollywood Recreation Center for a screening of the classic stoner/buddy comedy, Friday, starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker as two unemployed slackers who need to get $200 to their drug dealer by 10:00pm that Friday night. Hip-hop artist Alex Mac opens the evening with his perfect blend of ’90s nostalgia and modern day mainstream. As always, a variety of the city’s best food trucks will be on hand to dish out food from burgers to bao. Heat things up with some Cajun spice from Slap Yo Mama, then cool off with Italian ice from Mustache Mike’s.
