Toronto FC Signs Bermudian International Goalkeeper Freddy Hall

Toronto FC announced Tuesday that the club has signed goalkeeper Freddy Hall. As per team and league policies terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Freddy brings depth to our goalkeeping position and has many qualities that we like to see at this position,” said Toronto FC Head Coach and Director of Soccer Operations Paul Mariner. “He performed well during his trial period with our club and played well against Liverpool. We are pleased to sign him.”

Hall, 27, most recently was a member of Northampton Town of the English League Two. Prior to that Hall played for the Bermuda Hogges of the USL Premier Development. He began his college career at South Florida University before transferring to Quinnipiac University. Internationally, he has earned four caps for Bermuda.

Hall spent the past three weeks on trial with the club.
