The Calgary Police Service District 2 office is investigating a sexual assault after a woman was groped last week.
On Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a woman was walking in the 5800 block of Bow Crescent N.W., when a man riding a bicycle rode up behind her, slowed, and groped her buttocks before continuing eastbound.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, 18 to 20 years old, with a thin build and caramel-coloured hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a white, short-sleeve T-shirt and black “board shorts” with writing across the back.
He was riding a bicycle with a small frame at the time of the incident.
At this time, it is not believed the incident is related to cases in other areas of the city. The investigation is ongoing.
