Human remains found identified as of Brampton man Thanh Cong Truong

Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have identified the found human remains located in Brampton in the spring of this year. 

On Monday, April 30th, 2012 unidentified male human remains were located in a wooded area near Bovaird Drive and Heartlake Road in Brampton by a citizen walking in the area.

Through DNA testing, the remains have been positively identified as that of 32 year old Thanh Cong Truong of Brampton.  Mr. Truong had not been seen by family or friends since August of 2011 but was not reported to police as missing until September of this year.

Investigators do not suspect foul play in the death of Mr. Truong.
