Ragtime is the quintessential American musical, a portrait of life at the turn of the century. Based on E.L. Doctorow’s novel, Ragtime tells the story of three ethnically diverse American families whose lives unexpectedly become entwined. With music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and the storytelling of four-time Tony winner Terrence McNally (Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Full Monty), Ragtime is always an audience favorite. The score includes such songs as “Getting Ready Rag,” “Wheels of a Dream,” “Till We Reach That Day” and “Make Them Hear You.”
