The Magic Mirror Theater (North Hollywood, CA)

In this affectionate comedy classic by John Patrick, Ethel Savage has been left ten million dollars by her dear departed husband and wants to donate it to a worthy cause. When her greedy stepchildren get wind of this plan, they commit her to a sanitarium to help “bring her to her senses.” Inside the sanitarium, however, Ethel meets a group of misfits who very much need just the sort of help Mrs. Savage can provide, and she finds a new sense of family while leading her old family members on a merry chase.
