When – June 16th Sunday Time – 11:30am check-in, 12pm start to 4:30 pm Teams – Capped at 10 teams Tiers – 2 tiers to be determined through qualifiers, prizes for top 2 teams in each tier! (Prizes include Cara gift cards, Swiss Chalet gift cards, mini Mikasa balls and more!) BONUS – A huge thanks to RONIN VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY (Kanitha and Courtney) who will be offering one trial class for every participant (normally a $30 value) in the tournament. Ronin Volleyball Academy specializes in just-in-time training that IMMEDIATELY addresses skill gaps specific to each athlete. Check them out at www.roninvolleyball.com (**Please email me to register your team at samson.sk.li@gmail.com with your team name, players and the email addresses of your team to claim your trial class from Ronin**) Rules – Co-ed 4s, 1 female on court at all times – Games played to 21 capped at 25 for qualifiers – No volleys on serve, no volley over net, no open hand tips, no volley on first pass unless it is a hard driven hit. – Self ref-ed games though there will be score keepers who will be keeping lines and score ONLY – Nets will be up by 7am in the morning so you are welcome to come warm up beforehand. Nets are open for free play before and after the tournament. – Cost is $20 a person, prizes are prepared under a 4 person team so cost is $80 for a team. – Level of play: Above intermediate
