American actress/singer Selena Gomez, 21, has reportedly said that Hindu culture is inspiring and that she’s enjoyed learning about her seven chakras.
Hindus, who were critical of Selena for sporting bindi at the debut performance of “Come & Get It”; now seeing how the Hindu culture is influencing her; suggest that instead of loosely talking about Hinduism, Selena should seriously explore Hinduism.
Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, urged Selena to sincerely explore the rich philosophical thought of Hinduism. He or other Hindu scholars would gladly assist in her spiritual exploration if asked, Zed added.
Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, pointed out that in addition to chakras, Hinduism, oldest religion of the world, was a superabundant storehouse of wisdom going back to ancient times.
