Tomorrow that is the 11th of May, is a big day in the history of Pakistan as two new emerging parties of Pakistan with immense public support take out their separate rallies against the government and their mandate.

One big rally is by the Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader, Imran Khan who is all set tomorrow to give a ‘jalsa’ at the D-Chowk in Islamabad with his Charter of Demands (COD). It is a 13 point COD which includes Holding of next general election under biometric system, verification of votes in 4 constituencies, holding of local bodies polls under Judicial officers and appointment of heads of chief election commission in consultation with opposition. Other points that are included in the charter are against the rigging done in the past elections. The party demands the government to find areas which have reported rigging and to also punish those who were involved in it. This rally by Imran Khan has faced great criticism from members of the government.

The other rally is by Dr. Tahir-ul Qadriand his party called the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and will not be done in just one city but more than 60 cities in small numbers. The biggest will be in Rawalpindi with Dr. Tahir-ul Qadri addressing the public thru a video conference. The Canada based PAT chief has also faced great criticism from the government who claim that a person who lives in Canada should not be directing political movements in Pakistan. What happens tomorrow is still to be seen.
