Ottawa police investigate regarding a sexual assault incident in Billings Bridge area

The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit is investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred on May 12, 2014 at 3:00am in the Billings Bridge area.

A 35 year old female victim was walking at the OC Transpo Billings Bridge Station, after exiting an OC Transpo bus, when a man grabbed her and touched her inappropriately.  The victim does not believe that the man was on the bus with her.

The victim screamed and the suspect fled on foot going West through the parking lot.  Police were called immediately and the area was checked with negative results.

The suspect is described as Caucasian male, 6 feet (183 cm) wearing black clothing and a black baseball cap.
