Celebrate the legendary voices of some of Mexico’s most iconic female mariachi performers with ¡Viva la Tradición! Voces y Leyendas at Ford Amphitheatre. A loving look at the legacy of female artists, the evening includes an homage by María Elena Leal Beltrán to her mother Lola “La Grande” Beltran, widely considered the greatest ranchera singer of all time. The evening also features Deyra Barrera and Melinda Salcido, who’ll be paying tribute to the legacy of Mexican performers Lucha Villa and Amalia Mendoza, plus a spotlight on the golden age of Mexican cinema led by Mundo Fox 22 favorite Jose Armando Ronstadt, recreated by Las Colibrí, Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar, the Plaza de La Raza Youth Mariachi and Ballet Folklor Pasión Mexicana.
