His vehicle, a brown, 2013, four-door Hyundai Elantra was found on the Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphael wharf but Mr. Haché was not inside.
Chaleur Ground Search and Rescue, with the assistance of an RCMP police dog, have searched the area where Mr. Haché’s vehicle was found and RCMP divers have also been searching the waters. RCMP divers continue to search near the wharf today.
The RCMP is asking the public to come forward with any information that could assist with finding Mr. Haché. Mr. Haché is a diabetic and requires medication daily. Without his medication he can become disoriented. His family is deeply concerned for his safety and well-being.
Laurent Haché is a Caucasian male of average height with a medium build. He has grey hair. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, jeans and dark colored boots. When he disappeared he was wearing a green winter coat but his jacket was located inside his abandoned vehicle on the warf.
