The Broad Stage seems like the perfect place for one of L.A.’s most famous broads, award-winning humorist, author and radio host Sandra Tsing Loh, to premiere her latest solo comedy show, The B**** is Back: An All-Too Intimate Conversation. Based on her latest bestseller, The Madwoman in the Volvo: My Year of Raging Hormones, Loh is set to describe her adventures in menopause in excruciating and hilarious detail, which included an affair, a divorce, depression and worse, insomnia. Unable to find counsel in the current crop of self-help books, Loh decided to pen her own, with helpful tips on managing the symptoms (ice cream and HGTV are involved), and an account of how great life is on the other side.
