Soundhackers is a free monthly meetup co-presented by NAISA, dedicated to exploring techniques in sound art and music technology.
Our guests this month:
Janice Pomer & Barry Prophet will discuss their decades long collaborative partnership in movement and sound exploration. This talk is in advance of their Near North performance on August 1st in which they will perform on glass lithophones, made & found instruments.
Tony Wallace will speak about the Web Audio API and demonstrate his project which makes use of innovative sound technologies now available in the browser.
Derivative, the creators of TouchDesigner will show their innovative software and play with some audio features found inside. Markus Heckmann will lead the presentation.
