USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha has been certified with a 'UA' censor certificate, and with 5 cuts. One of these cuts is a long lingering sensual kiss between Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The torrid smooch has been reduced by almost 90 percent.

Says a source, "The censor board found the kiss too hot to handle. Apparently it is the most lengthy and sensuous kiss ever on screen, even longer and more passionate than the one between Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor in Raja Hindustani."

Also edited are three verbal cuts, including the word 'pole' which was seen to be too phallic and the term 'apna haath jagannath' which is often a term for self-pleasuring. These have been removed.

That apart the film has been left intact by the censor board.

Says a source, "The board members loved the film. The chemistry between Ranbir and Deepika crackles…sometimes too much, especially in the kissing."
