USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) is in the news again. However, this time round it is not for any controversy but for his film with Vivek Oberoi titled Rai. The film is based on the life of the underworld don Muthappa Rai.

RGV, who has reportedly claimed that the tales of deadly gangsters like Pablo Escobar, Dawood Ibrahim and Al Capone, were nothing as compared Rai, will be launching the film's poster on May 1, which happens to be his birthday.

While Rai will be made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, it will be shot in Mangalore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Dubai and London. The film is being produced by CR Manohar.
