If Cher didn’t prove once and for all, to all you doubters that Tom Cruise is STRAIGHT- we give up trying! Cher does NOT lie! Back in the 80’s after Tom hit it big in “Risky Business,” he and Cher had a fling. (We’re not sure if he was a Scientologist yet) We happen to have written in Star magazine about an evening they spent necking on the couch at a party at Paul Newman’s house. They also went out in public together. Cher was 16 years older than Tom and they were definitely an odd but affectionate couple for a short time. Cher was crazy about Tom and he was flattered by her attention. Fact is, she wouldn’t have rhapsodized about Tom to Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live”, if it hadn’t been a genuine hetero -romance. So there. (We’re guessing that wig had something to do with the eventual split)
