Anil Kapoor & Sonam Kapoor together at last

Anil and his daughter Sonam Kapoor are coming together on the large screen at last. But not in the way you think. The trailer of Anil’s action film Tezz is being attached to the Sonam starrer Players this Friday…on Anil Kapoor’s insistence.

Apparently, the producers felt it was too early to put it out, since the film releases on April 27. However, Anil was keen that the trailer goes out with his daughter’s film.

The trailer was apparently rush-completed for the sake of the doting dad’s wish to be a part of his daughter’s film.

A bit premature for the Tezz trailer considering Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn (who plays the film’s main antagonist) are now, at this very minute, shooting the one-to-one bare-fisted climactic fight for which Anil has been getting into shape for a few months now.

Producer Ratan Jain defends the decision to release the trailer so early, “It’s true we’re not finished. We’re shooting the climax right now. And then we’ve some work with Kangna Ranaut pending. As far as releasing the trailer too soon is concerned, isn’t everyone putting out their promotional material months in advance? Karan Johar started his Agneepath promotion so much in advance.”
