A London-based website GlamCapture has officially apologized to Bigg Boss housemate Rahul Mahajan’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar in connection with a defamatory article it posted last week.

The said article stated that Rahul’s publicist had manipulated his client to act in a certain manner inside the show and that Rahul was changing his strategies inside Bigg Boss according to his plans.

“Publicists do discuss plans and strategies with their clients and even manipulate opinions at large. That’s normal and it’s their job,” said Dale. “But this particular site crossed limits of journalistic ethics and posted a downright malicious article against Rahul’s moves on Bigg Boss,” he added.

As a precaution, the Bollywood PR guru informed the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell (CCIC), as well as the site’s domain registrar for abuse and violation of acceptable usage policies, providing saved web pages and screenshots for evidence of the defamatory content.

Realizing it could face inquiries and suspension, the website pulled down the defamatory article and issued an official apology, in an attempt to bring the matter to a closure.
