Intuition, also called a sixth sense is apparently something that everyone is born with. We all, to some degree, have a psychic sense which we can use. Whether it’s a gut feeling on something or a sense of knowing, intuition is hardwired into us to help us in life.
How many times have you kicked yourself for not listening to your gut feeling? What we often call the gut feeling has indeed been studied by scientists and psychologists and is a popular subject in human psychology, and it seems that the theory is true. We have some natural intuition to help us make decisions, to respond (“fight or flight”) and to help us on our journey through life.
What is Intuition?
Animals have instincts in order to survive, to avoid predators and to find food to live. We are born with similar instincts, which we tend to collectively call “intuition”, that has perhaps been weakened by modern society and human conditioning. Clairvoyants and psychics are everyday people like us, but they have developed their intuitive ability with practice and patience.
A psychic sense is stronger, helping them to pick up and “know” about a person’s life – whether it’s the past, the present or the future. Psychic readings by ethical psychics give hope, honesty and guidance on not only a human level but a spiritual level. Indeed, psychics and clairvoyants can empower people, especially if they are going through difficult times. Intuition is much the same, only everyone has an intuitive sense which they can either choose to listen to or ignore. The fact that it is inbuilt within us perhaps suggests that we should all be listening.
If you suspect that you’re highly intuitive, then you may be familiar with some of the things the list below:
You know who is calling on the phone before you pick
You often sense things about friends which turn out to be right
You have vivid dreams, some of which come true
You get flashes or short visions in your mind out of the blue
You have a feeling you’ve met someone before even though it’s the first time
You pick up on the emotions or feelings of people you may or may not know
A day, month or year comes into your head when someone is telling you something
How to Develop Your Intuition
Developing your intuition or psychic senses can take time, so it’s important to be patient with yourself. It’s really very simple – write down anything that suddenly comes to mind about a friend or member of the family, try to guess who is calling before you pick up the phone and write down any vivid dreams.
If you want to learn more about psychic development, there are plenty of groups (circles) who sit together and you may find one locally on the internet. Practice meditation to help empty your mind so you can focus too.
