We are often reminded that the Unified Field, spoken of in the Bhagavad Gita is a kind of primer for understanding the unfoldment of life.  A kind of ancient guide for all times.  Jumping ahead to our modern times, New Age thinkers will often say that we attract others who are like ourselves or that an old karmic debt may be at the root of some current distress with a betrayal, a cruelty or deceit.  Often Yogists will say that we are paying off the debt of a past life or still, something unkind that we did.  But there is, thank all goodness, another explanation for these difficulties that are served up when we least expect them and force us to question our very foundations.  Take a look at the patterns in your life that keep coming up; always being passed up for the raise; being taken advantage of; not having telephone calls returned to you; difficulty in collecting your fee.  In the older paradigm it could appear that you have "bad karma" or bad luck.  But in  Finding Shangri La, we use yet another lens to look at this type of situation.  What if the Divine is reflecting back to you the image you send out from your deepest inner fearful or hurt self–that of  not prizing your own value and so, reflecting back at you are situations and people who also do not value you so you can see this ‘crack’ in the mirror.  Begin to change the value you place on yourself, your creativity, your excellent skills, and soon, others will start reflecting back that same value by treating you better, paying you more, hiring you, and proving this Universal truth.  Believe……..
