The dismissed MPs are Hon Angelo Marcello, John Richard and Julio Bensension who were in detention in Wau Central prison.
The three MPs were arrested and found guilty by the special court in connection with last year Wau’s violence that claimed many lives of innocent civilians.
The State Governor also appointed three new faces to replace the dismissed MPs who are now serving their long prison terms.
The newly appointed legislators are George Peter, Luciano Tom and Natalina Wadrif. Governor Rizik’s decree came just a day after the president of South Sudan also relieved his long time Vice President Dr. Riek Machar of his duties.
