Five arrests have now been made in the investigation of a Murder that occurred in Prince George in 2012.
On the morning of Saturday June 23rd, 2012, the Prince George RCMP located 22 year old Jordan Christian RENO deceased on a property located on the 4100 block of Knight Crescent in Prince George. Jordan was the victim of a homicide.
The ensuing investigation into Jordan’s death, led by the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Section, has been thorough and relentless. Over the past 3 years the investigation has focused on the possibility that Jordan was the victim of a targeted homicide with ties to the illicit drug trade. As a result of the investigation, a series of suspects were identified. With the assistance of multiple specialized RCMP units and partner police agencies, charges of 1st Degree Murder have now been approved by Crown Counsel against the following people:
- Lyle William BAKER, 42 years old
- Kevin Roy ZAPOROSKI, 47 years old
- Bradley Douglas BARR, 35 years old
- Dustin Allen LINDGREN, 26 years old
These four men were arrested over the last two days by the Prince George RCMP in New Westminster (BARR), Edmonton (LINDGREN) and Prince George (BAKER & ZAPOROSKI). They are expected to appear in Prince George Provincial Court later this week or early next week.
The fifth person, a 29 year old female residing in Prince George, has also been arrested. The investigation into her involvement is continuing and we will be seeking charge approval for Murder.
