Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of two men at 6200 West Bellfort about 2 a.m. on March 20.

The suspects, Divis Garcia Ordonez (H/m, DOB: 6-6-86) and Antonio Leon (H/m, DOB: 7-17-89) are each charged with two counts of murder in the 174th State District Court. Ordonez and Leon, who has an alias of George Celaya, are believed to have fled to their native country of Honduras.

The victims, Manuel Ponce, 31, and Elvin Gutierrez-Reyes, 23, suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Officer R. Olive reported:

Mr. Ponce and Mr. Gutierrez-Reyes were in the parking lot of the apartment complex at the above address, waiting for the suspect to arrive so they could return a phone to him. The phone was originally found at a convenience store in the 11100 block of Albury.

When the suspect arrived at the complex, he opened fire on both victims, killing one in the parking lot. The suspect then chased after the second victim and fatally shot him in another area of the apartment complex. The suspect then fled the scene in a dark, four-door car, possibly a Honda Accord.

Further investigation identified Ordonez and Leon as suspects in this case and, at this time, both remain at large.
