EPS Missing Persons Unit investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing EPS member.

Const. Ronnie Chiu, 46, was last seen at 8 p.m. on May 22, 2011 while leaving his place of work with the EPS in the area of 88 Street and 51 Avenue.

“Our investigators have exhausted all avenues of investigation, so we are asking for the public’s help in locating the constable and his vehicle,” says Const. Jim Gurney, of the Missing Persons Unit.

Const. Chiu didn’t attend his work shift on May 23, 2011, which is considered extremely out of character.

Const. Chiu was last seen wearing a white golf shirt with horisontal blue striping, blue jeans, dark shoes, a light coloured baseball cap and glasses. He was driving his green 1998 GMC Sierra truck with an extended cab and a distinctive metal roll-up tonneau cover. The vehicle licence plate is SVE 078.

Const. Chiu is 6’2", 200 lbs., and has no hair.

UPDATE: Mr. Chiu has been located.
